The drummer: The reason puberty was bliss for me…I thought he (along with Adam Ant) was amazing.
The tragedy: Lead singer, Michael Hutchence took his life in 1997 by hanging himself. He was only 38 years old. What a waste, in so many ways..but especially for the rock and roll world….INXS was a really good band with a lot of talent.
The song: Don’t change
I’m not sure why I wanted to write about this today. Seems a little melancholy actually, but I do love this song. It was definitely hard being a teenager in the glam 80’s, but it was bands like this that made it easier…..I see now why I loved Jon Farriss, the drummer; so full of personality and passion for his craft (not to mention a total cutie…like fer sure).
