Yesterday, a friend and I were planning on meeting for dinner. Beforehand, I ran to Wal-Mart to pick up a couple of things…there were Mexican people everywhere! It was the strangest thing…I mean everywhere! I actually pictured myself being in Mexico and wondering if this what Wal-Mart down there would be like…it was crazy. Later, my friend and I had Mexican food. 
In a few months a movie will be coming out called Twilight. I have been anticipating the movie for several months, especially since plowing through the books this past summer. In the books, the main characters (vampires) are painted as being absolutely beautiful people with incredible characteristics. Naturally, when reading a book ths descriptive and full of imagery, you form some sort of picture in your head as to what the characters look like. Well, in my opinion, the casting department for this particular movie company did one of the poorest jobs casting these characters that I have ever seen. Even looking at the photos has really tainted my view of how they look in my head, especially as I have recently began to re-read the series. There is one character yet to be cast, and they have really been shuffling their feet naming this character…I really hope its because they are looking for somebody to “fit the bill” seeing that they have failed so miserably with the other ones.
To be honest, I haven’t fully made up my mind if I will be seeing this film or not, because as I said earlier…the job of casting was sincerely poor. So, if you haven’t read the books yet, do yourself a favor and read it before seeing the film. Doing so in reverse would not do the author nor her story justice.
