Yes, you guessed it, I heard this on the radio today, and I immediately reverted my thinking to the year 1977. I was 9 years old, so..I guess that was about the 4th grade??
So…when I think of 4th grade, several things come to mind…one being getting caught kissing my boyfriend behind this huge tree on the playground..very uncool to get caught….like I even knew what I was doing….. Another memory is the countless days and nights we spent skating at the local skating rink.. every weekend me and my girls were there. And i’m not talking about just hanging out, I mean , we skated hardcore!
Its amazing how a song can instantly take you back. This song by the Bee Gees was popular during the disco era when movies like Saturday Night Fever and Urban Cowboy were dancing the on big screen. The funny thing is, I never realized how unbelievably high their voices were (its like falsetto falsetto) and how there is absolutely no way to understand what they are saying. Even if you watch this video and look at their mouths, it can’t be done…but still this is a cool song.
